About the Artist:

After retiring, Michael set out to enjoy life as a local "Gentleman Farmer", Bee Keeper, and to search out how he wanted to express his creativity with woodworking as an art form.

Woodworking took an interesting "spin" as he began exploring the surprising beauty hidden in woodturning. Unique opportunities lay in the fallen timbers left for scrap, now live again through the guided eye and hands as Michael rebirths each piece to live a new majestic beauty.
