About Us
Artisans is an artist co-op in downtown Mt. Dora, FL. We have been in business since 2009 and now have 35 Central Florida artists. We are a non-profit corporation. The store is run by artist members and we have no paid employees, which helps keep our prices low.
We offer all kinds of artwork, home decor items and gifts. Some of them are: jewelry, ceramics, fused and stained glass, fiber art, paper collage, leather goods, digital art, photography, a variety of painting techniques and much more. We also offer art classes in our small intimate classroom where one-on-one help is provided by our talented instructors.
Our mission is:
- to promote local, emerging artists in both high-quality retail and online environments;
- to encourage future artists through an educational scholarship fund;
- to support local charitable causes in the community it serves; and
- to enhance art appreciation among visitors and residents of Central Florida.
We are open Mon. - Sat. from 10 am until 5 pm and Sun. 11 am until 5 pm. We are also open until 7 pm for special events. Our address is 139 E Fourth Ave. in Mt. Dora, FL 32757.
