About the Artist

Emily graduated from Albion College in Michigan where she majored in Fine Art and German Language. After graduation, she attended the Art Academy in Cincinnati in Graphic Design. Afterward, Emily worked as a graphic designer.  Later, Emily studied under master painters and portrait artists.  She began her full-time art career in 2018. Having painted with a somewhat impressionistic style in opaque acrylic for years,  she now prefers a transparent style using acrylic medium.  As a result, her current work has a vibrancy and glow in her landscapes and portraits.
